Our ideal candidate will have a background in allergies, healthy eating and nutrition trends, and influence groups with nutritional knowledge and education.

While this role is remote/home-based, the ideal candidate needs to reside in Eastern PA or surrounding markets for convenient East Coast travel. This position will require travel throughout the East Coast and may require overnight stays.

The Successful Candidate Will

  • Provide nutrition support for 50+ locations collaborating with operations, culinary, and marketing teams; this will require travel and sometimes overnight stays.
  • Maintain operational standards as the expert on allergen training.
  • Partner with the culinary team to develop and implement nutrition programs that support accounts varying in size.
  • Work with the marketing team to produce communications that increase awareness of healthy offerings at each location and facilitate educational programs, including lunch and learn workshops and tabling events —heavily emphasizing K-12 educational programming.
  • Research, develop, and write material for the bi-monthly and annual health and wellness publications, weekly blogs, and social media posts.
  • Support business development efforts and participate in retention efforts of existing accounts.
  • Serve as a preceptor for internship programs.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Credentialed as a Registered Dietitian by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)
  • 3-5 years of dietitian experience
  • Previous experience (1-2 years) in higher education, corporate settings, or K-12/school environment
  • Capable of developing health-conscious menus
  • Proven ability to engage, motivate, and influence others regarding nutrition
  • Highly collaborative; able to partner cross-functionally and manage a diverse set of stakeholders
  • Resilience in the face of challenges and energy and adaptability in a fast-changing environment
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent problem-solving, influencing, organization, and time management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently manage multiple assignments/tasks concurrently with the ability to prioritize work and adapt to the changing needs of the role
  • Strong presentation, computer, management, and leadership skills
  • Committed to continued education in the nutrition field and implementing new and innovative ideas.
