Utility - Food Prep   -  Part-Time -  Monday, Wednesday and Friday  -  7:00 AM to 3:00 PM  


Wage: $18.00 Per Hour

Utility Job Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a clean and organized workstation, which includes washing equipment and service ware, receiving and distributing deliveries, proper sanitation of the kitchen and dining room, trash removal and floor maintenance.
  • Wash, sanitize and maintain food production equipment & service ware determined by the supervisor and the cleaning schedule.
  • Remove trash and waste, as determined by supervisor and location.      
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills required.  
  • Lift and move food, food containers and other non-food items from floor position to no higher than one’s own height.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area via supervisor instruction and applicable health, safety, and food handling regulations.
  • Adhere to client and company protocols related to COVID-19 workplace safety and sanitation standards.
  • Follow all outlined health and safety regulations with regard to equipment use and personal hygiene.
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.

Food Prep Job Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, clean and chop/slice foods to be used in salads, sandwiches, side dishes, etc.
  • Operate the following equipment: saute burners, convection oven, kettle steamer, warming unit, pizza oven, microwave, grill/flat top and fryer. Various size pots/pans, platters, dishes and hand held utensils, knives, mops, brooms, dust pans, buckets, cleaning towels and agents.
  • Assemble, operate and disassemble the following equipment:  Meat and cheese slicer, food processor, R-2/Robocoupe, food choppers, and cutters, food blenders and mixers. 
  • May prepare, cook and serve various dishes based on supervisor's needs as per set menu.
  • Receive, unpack, unwrap, rotate, & stow deliveries into appropriate refrigerators, freezers, and storerooms via supervisor's instructions.
  • Follow proper food safety requirements when handling, cooking and storing raw and prepared foods. 
  • This position may be called upon to perform other job related tasks as determined by the supervisor.
